Popcorn Surfing
I keep the gun on my waist
so I don’t shoot up the place
iv’e got some wicked revenge
when this daylight ends
i can’t recall where i slept
but i can feel it begin
No I don’t know your name
but i forgot your face
i never want this to end
I hope that we stay friends
iv’e got some ripping amends
before this dark begins
with the windows up
we ride on the sun
and it fills you up
and we fly into one
I keep the light in my brain
so I don’t lose what I say
if these words flipped a switch
would it fill your rage
I walked away from the fire
I ran away from the rain
I make a fog in my head
and clear it out with the haze
I wish it turned itself off
but then i’d be ok
you’ve got a lot on your nerves
before this dream begins
with the windows up
we ride on the sun
and it fills you up
and we fly into one

Deep doom and massive fuzz, but also lots of space and time to contemplate why we might be here. Drummer is particularly cool, as is everything else. Really good for getting stoned, putting on headphones in the middle of a field, lying down, closing your eyes, and drifting off into another world. Heavy as fuck too. Jono Schneider

As we prepare ourselves spiritually, physically, and mentally for Sunnata’s upcoming Chasing Shadows, it is as good a time as any to reflect upon the band’s incredible discography, which stands as one of the finest in all of sludge/ stoner, and even (modern) doom for that matter. Zorya is probably Sunnata’s heaviest album and though it is a smidgen less dynamic than Outlands, it is the best entry point for new listeners who want to know what’s what. Perfect soundtrack for steamrolling your foes. Ippocalyptica

There's a certain feel to their sound that I love so much, nice and groovy but heavy enough to keep me locked in through the whole album. amazing work, and I can't wait for the next project ✌️ loops_1306
